Activating Zinstall

Zinstall software will ask you for your serial number and email address during the activation process. You will be asked for that information once for each PC you run Zinstall on.

If you are not connected to the Internet during the activation process, you will need to perform a Web Activation, by surfing to http://www.zinstall.com/activation.

Guidelines for using Zinstall zPOD

Before first use:

1. Save all files and close all running applications
2. Disable Internet Security Suites, Firewalls, and Anti-Virus Products
3. The transfer process must be run by an Administrator

First, to 'download' your entire computer to the zPOD external drive or a USB drive:

1. Connect your external drive to the PC you wish to take with you
2. Run Zinstall zPOD
3. zPOD will automatically detect your drive as the storage target, and your entire computer as storage source
4. Press the 'Go' button when ready
5. Your computer is downloaded to the external drive

To use your zPOD environment on any computer:

1. Connect your external drive to the PC you wish to use your zPOD environment on
2. Open the external drive in Windows
3. From the drive, run the application 'Run zPOD'
